Last month we hosted our second PAUSE Live event. Our guest speaker was the self-taught artist, illustrator, creative director and former fashion designer, Emma Evans.

Emma discussed her upbringing, formative years, eventful and successful fashion career, and how she made the bold step into artistry while at the height of her powers in the fashion industry. Proving that life truly is a rollercoaster, Emma also spoke candidly about her life challenges, including the discovery of her dyslexia (which she now describes as her super-power!) and how managing adversity can help you grow.

Emma brought along her artwork and collaborative projects, then presented us with a blank canvas. She challenged audience members to interact, through a series of probing questions on their work, their colleagues and their values, with the aim of creating an artwork that represents Ashfield Medcomms.

It was an honour to have Emma Evans, a truly inspirational figure, spend time with us.
